To create better sound, "sound quality design" is required for IC chips as same as audio equipment. ROHM, a semiconductor manufacturer, has been pursuing the sound quality of ICs and launched a new brand [ROHM Musical Device “MUS-IC”] achieving high sound quality. In this article, I introduce our philosophy and the initiatives unique to semiconductors.
