The deployment of 5G (The fifth-generation mobile communications systems) has been progressing around the world, and its promising features, such as high-speed, high-capacity and low latency, has been explored in a number of use cases by early adaptors, leading service providers and enterprises. This article introduces the latest development of domestic and international 5G deployment, especially focusing on local use of 5G, and pre-service activities provided for the Rugby World Cup 2019 tournament.
